What does the "Initial Term" of the Accession Agreement mean?
The Initial Term in the Accession Agreement (Section 5) is defined in the General Terms and Conditions as "a period until 31st August 2016".
The reasoning for this term being present within the Accession Agreement is because it is liked to Equias subcontractors contract term in order to be consecutive. Equias does not require this term protection any longer hence the Initial Term does not need to be extended in the GTCs. Given that the Initial Term has expired, now all Accession Agreements do not have an Initial Term and the Accession Agreement is automatically renewed very year unless it is terminated with 3 months written notice.
