What does match rolled back mean?
The "match rollback" is not an issue. During eCM, when a matching pair (CNF vs. CNF) or (BCN vs.CNF+BFI) is found, the CMS starts the matching process.
For this, the CMS is asking the CNF and BCN processes if it is "ready for a match" and if both parties agree the process is marked for "Matching".
It is possible that while the first CNF process is 'matching', the second one is meanwhile receiving an BFI/CNF Amendment. If this happens the first CNF process which has already agreed to start a match is notified about the match rollback and for this a log message "match rollback" is written. This message is useful for the technical helpdesk and should not be considered as an issue.
Alternatively, if the broker leg of a trilateral match has 'Preliminary Matched', but an amendment is submitted by the trader, the broker leg will be 'Rolled Back', from where the matching processes will begin again.
