Can multiple EIC codes share the same X/P Messenger?
For multiple internal organisations to share the same Messenger, the 'Partner ID' field on either the New Client UAT and/ or Production Forms can contain the same value. This is the recommended set-up.
The advantage of this set-up is that all documents can be sent through one partner, so no additional set-up is required.
There are no major limitations of using the same partner ID as the CMS will recognise which organisation messages are being sent from by the EIC code.
Nevertheless, it is also possible to set up the different internal organisations with a separate Partner ID each, but this means high administrative effort (set up agreements, request and install partner certificates).
