Is it possible to add a new Commodity Reference to the EFET Static Data?
Requests to add a new Commodity Reference should be made to the CMS Service Team (support@equias.org).
If a suitable Commodity Reference does not exist currently, the CMS Service Team will work with the requester to create a new reference code and description. The Commodity Reference Code and associated description must align to the standard template used by ISDA for Commodity Definitions.
A Commodity Reference description should include the below information:
1) Index Commodity
2) Index Currency
3) Specified Price referenced in the index
4) Delivery Date (the term of the underlying traded instrument from which the price comes e.g. Spot contract, Day Ahead etc...)
5) Pricing Date (every Friday, every commodity business day etc during the calculation period)
6) Source of the index e.g. a web site or publication with page number etc...
Once agreed, the new Commodity Reference will be added to the EFET Static Data: http://www.efet.org/Standardisation/Static-data
