Can the value of fields; 'Buyer EIC', 'Seller EIC', or 'Receiver ID' be changed in a Trade or Broker confirmation once submitted to the CMS?
*It is only possible to change fields 'Buyer EIC', 'Seller EIC', or 'Receiver ID' in a Trade or Broker Confirmation submitted to CMS if the matching dialogue is taking place between CMS organisations. The initiating party must have the 'Amend Cancelled' setting enabled if the same DocumentID shall be used again like described below.*
First, the Trade or Broker Confirmation must be Cancelled in CMS. Submit a cancellation document referencing the Document ID of the confirmation to be cancelled. This can only be done if the confirmation is in 'PENDING' (and 'PRELIMINARY MATCHED') state. If the cancellation is successful, the confirmation will be assigned to 'CANCELLED' state.
Next, submit an amendment with the same Document ID and increased Version Number, changing the fields 'Buyer EIC', 'Seller EIC', or 'Receiver ID' as required. If the amendment is successful, the confirmation will return to 'PENDING', from which the matching process can begin with the newly identified counterparty and/or broker.
