What is the connection between Equias and Trayport, and what is the process to enable this connection?

This applies only to OMPs: The Trayport connection will allow clients to send ACER XML Files to Trayport from the CMS. To allow this function, the client can add an Agreement in your local Messenger with the Trayport Partner ID which is contained in the relevant OMP Messenger Patch:

CMS-ERR3-TRAYPORT-TEST and CMS-ERR3-TRAYPORT-LIVE

By installing these Agreements into the Messenger this will Accepted normal ACER files and the clients will receive back REMIT Receipt files. The CMS will forward these files to Trayport via an FTP (FileTansferProtocoll) application, that needs a username and Password from Trayport.

Actions required for this connection:

  1. L1: Make sure the CIF is filled out correctly, including the CMS-ERR-TRAYPORT Partner filled out
  2. L1: Gather the FTP account information (username password) from the client
  3. L2: Creates the Agreement according to the CIF and sets up the CMS connection to Trayport (using the login information)
  4. Client: Create an Agreement with the Trayport Partner for sending/receiving from it (like CMS-ERR-REMIT basically)
  5. L1/L2: Make sure the latest patch is installed on the X/P Messenger which has the Trayport remote Partner
  6. L1: Once the connection is complete, External RRM screen needs to be selected in the eRR roles for the client.

Once the connection is complete the client will receive normal REMIT Receipts through the ACER-TRAYPORT Partner connection, the same as they would get form the EQUIAS-ACER connection.

The client can view the traffic of the submitted trade data via the External RRM screen under your eRR menu, however to view the status of the trades the client will need to check the Trayport GUI.
