Do Equias have to sign the REMIT Reporting Agreement – Trade Data (Tripartite) ?
Equias does not have to sign the tripartite agmt. The reason being that EFET produced a two party (OMP-MP) as well, so, for practical reasons, Equias (at the time, EFETnet) imported in its eRR REMIT subappendix the provisions from the tripartite agmt relevant to the RRM leg. This was done in consultation with EFET/LEBA / JEAG and its members. Hence, any licensed user signing up to the eRR REMIT service as OMP will have covered the RRM leg (included in the triparty agmt) and all it needs is to enter into a two-party EFET bilateral agmt with its MP clients.
